Ben Gageler and Michael Angelis are two filmmakers based in Sydney.

Michael completed a post-graduate diploma in cinematography at Australia’s National Film School AFTRS and Ben has achieved a Masters in Media Arts and Production from the University of Technology, Sydney.

The two filmmakers were lucky enough to make connections within the film industry, especially in the camera department. While larger sets were enjoyable for the teamwork, camaraderie, and professionalism, Ben’s and Michael's hearts have always been set on cinematography. They have been drawn towards independent features, documentaries, fashion, and corporate shoots, where they honed their skills in composition, lighting, and operating.

In 2017, they came together to create Still Rolling Productions, a boutique film production house. Part of their work involves bringing fascinating stories to life in the form of cinematography. They complement each other's skill sets and work together seamlessly to achieve the best possible shot for their clients. On set, their shorthand has a natural flow, forged over decades of friendship.

Ben and Michael are dedicated to their craft. They continue to work together on new projects, always seeking the perfect shot. Their shared passion for filmmaking and friendship is central to their success, and they are grateful for the opportunity to pursue their dreams as a team.
